Capture Mode

HTML saves the rendered page with selected styles and local images. Scripts, forms, frames, and media are omitted. It is a snapshot, not a complete archive. Site profiles and SEO options apply to Markdown.

Agent access
Capture options
Optional page metadata, link, image, and structured-data inventory. No indexing claims or performance score.
Choose any available drive, or keep Downloads / Web2Markdown. If Chrome cannot use a chosen folder, this capture falls back to Downloads automatically.

Chrome controls the side-panel width. Drag its inside edge to resize, or open the wide workspace above.

Capture history and recovery

Local jobs may include authenticated page addresses and content. History expires after 7 days and is cleaned on next access, with limits of 30 jobs and 6 MiB. Resume and retry only run when you choose them.

Connect the desktop Capture Inbox
  1. Install and open the desktop editor.
  2. In the desktop Capture Inbox, add this same capture root. Compare full paths in your system file browser: matching folder names alone are not proof.
  3. Create a test capture below, then find its test ID in the desktop Inbox.

Automation connected, editor available, and capture detected are separate states. A saved test only verifies extension output, not desktop detection. No automation bridge is required.
