What changed in this release
Desktop 2.8.5 / extension 1.7.3. Capture Element saves portable webpage artifacts. The desktop Artifact Library imports and edits their text, colors, fonts, spacing or HTML while retaining originals; duplicate, restore, remove, insert into HTML and export are available.
The wider popup, Wide Workspace and passive HTML snapshots remain available. Current in-app What's New headings match each component version. Windows package and installed-app checks passed. Chrome testing and everyday workflow review remain in progress.
Passive captures preserve selected appearance, not interactive website behavior or complete offline archives. Ordinary artifact editing requires no AI or cloud library.
LaTeX formula preservation from KaTeX, MathJax, and Wikipedia into standard math blocks.
Code syntax language preservation with floating copy buttons and line numbers stripped.
