Release notes, with clear status.

Track what is being prepared and what still needs verification before the public release.

Public release history starts here

No public release is available from this website yet. These are preparation notes, not an announcement that an installer or Chrome Store listing has shipped.

What is being prepared

Chrome capture workflow

  • Page, selection, Site Tree, and sitemap capture.
  • Local assets and completion receipts.
  • Preview editing, bounded recovery, and explicit retry actions.
  • Consistent Settings, Help, About, and public product links.

Desktop editing workflow

  • Tabbed and split-group source editing with preview.
  • Remembered Heading and List split-button choices.
  • Templates, local snippets, and format-aware checks.
  • Capture Inbox, sitemap viewing, and document export.

Release checks still ahead

  1. Complete public-source and third-party notice review, then verify a clean checkout builds correctly.
  2. Publish and anonymously verify the official repository and download destinations.
  3. Verify capture-to-editor behavior and the public link set in real Chrome.
  4. Prepare and review the Chrome Web Store submission.
  5. Build and validate the Mac package on macOS before advertising it.

These are planned gates, not a promised ship date. Windows and macOS signing status will be stated with their respective releases.

When a release is published

Release notes will identify the editor and extension versions separately, list changes and known issues, and link the matching verified artifacts. Installed versions are shown inside each component's Help or About screen.
