This page is for Pitch Please beta testers, store reviewers, and app users who need help with the roof pitch measurement app published by GDK Digital LLC.
Camera Mode is designed to save the photo with the pitch overlay included. The saved image should include the guide line, pitch or slope value, and degrees.
Direct Mode uses the device sensors and saves a screenshot of the measurement screen. Keep the phone in landscape and align the long edge with the pitch direction.
If capture or saving does not work, check the app permissions in your device settings for camera, photos, and motion access.
For best repeatability, calibrate on a known flat surface before measuring. Recalibrate if the device was dropped, updated, or moved between very different environments.
Pitch Please is starting as a free beta so testers can help validate the camera overlay, saved-photo behavior, sensor readings, and store readiness.
The planned commercial model after beta is a one-time paid app purchase through the app stores. No subscription is currently planned for Pitch Please. Final availability and purchase behavior will follow Apple App Store and Google Play policies.
Measurement note: Pitch Please is a field reference and documentation tool. Verify final code, engineering, safety, or construction decisions with the required professional tools and local requirements.
Pitch Please is designed to process camera and sensor behavior on the device. Review the app-specific privacy policy at gdkdigital.com/privacy/pitch-please.
