Camera Mode
Camera Mode saves a photo with the fixed guide and device reading. It does not calculate roof geometry from the image; see the alignment limits. Captures are kept in Saved Pictures before export.

What to include when you email
- Your device model, operating system version, and Pitch Please app version. The release notes list what changed in each version.
- Whether the issue happened in Camera Mode, Direct Mode, Settings, or while saving a photo.
- The pitch, degree, or slope reading you expected, and what the app displayed.
- Whether camera, photo library, and motion sensor permissions are enabled.
- A screenshot or saved Pitch Please photo if it helps explain the issue.
Quick help
Direct Mode
Direct Mode uses the device sensors and saves a screenshot of the measurement screen. Keep the phone in landscape and align the long edge with the pitch direction.
Permissions
Check camera and motion permissions for measurement, and photo permission for library export. If a picture is missing from Photos, open Saved Pictures: the in-app copy may still be available to export.
Readings that look wrong
Check calibration in Settings and follow the in-app Help. In Direct Mode, check contact and long-edge alignment along the fall. Stability describes sensor movement, not a verified roof angle. Independently verify consequential measurements.

If an instruction on this site is wrong, or the app did something you did not expect, tell us here. It goes straight to the person who maintains Pitch Please.
An email address is optional, but without one we cannot reply or ask a follow-up question.
What you type here is sent to GDK Digital and stored with our other website enquiries. Any images you attach are emailed to us and are not kept on this website. Check a screenshot before you send it, and do not include passwords or private customer details. This form is part of the website, not the app: see the Pitch Please privacy policy for how the app itself handles your data.
Purchasing and availability
Pitch Please is live on the Apple App Store and Google Play. It is a paid app bought once through the store, with no subscription and no in-app purchases.
Current pricing, ratings, and device compatibility are shown on the store listings. Purchases and post-purchase adjustments are handled by the store you bought it from under that store's terms, not by GDK Digital directly.
Measurement note: Pitch Please is a field reference and documentation tool. Verify final code, engineering, safety, or construction decisions with the required professional tools and local requirements.
